View of our land in Taylors Hill in 8/4/2012. We signed the contract on 9/6/2012 at the Metricon Head Office 501 Blackburn Road, Mt. Waverly. Was delighted to have appoinment to sign the contract!
We wanted to buy a house but then I saw an ad for land sale in Taylors Hill. We liked the idea of owining our own land so much that although we were not sure that we would have enough money to build a house on it, we handed our A$ 1,000 non refundable deposit on the first visit. We particularly liked this area becasue it was close to Caroline Springs, the area we knew well and have heaps of friends living there. I was excited that our portion of the land was going to be next to the Display Homes of many top Victorian builders. Plus there was no requirement to build the house within a year of purchase and so we were relieved.

Hello! Thank you for sharing your journey in building your beautiful home. We have bought a piece of land in Diamond Creek and has placed our deposit with Metricon for Winchester 28 as well. We are still in the preliminary stage. We have got our soil test done and were disappointed with the P class result which means our site costs will be high. Anyway, we are waiting for Metricon for the actual costs which might be another 6 weeks time before we know how much the total costs will be. It's great to see your beautiful house which actually help us to relieve our worries temporarily. Thank you!
